I can't believe this thread has already fallen into such a miserable state of disrepair. I blame Unlost and 4and20; they both have been needing to step up their game for some time now...
with the title I felt this thread had some real potential....but alas....it has not met our expectations. The day is young and all it takes is one post to be the catalyst that brings it to the next level.

you did state it was of low importance and really it is our fault for putting so much hope on its "importance". The fault lies with the reader, not the poster.

i'm surprised it's gotten as much attention as it has.

got an another email marked with "low importance" from this lady today....out of curiousity i replied back asking if she realized she is doing this. i am actively waiting for her reply...

from now on every email from me to here will be marked with the utmost high importance.....haven't heard back from my previous email. i will be sure to keep you in the loop.....or not.

my manager not only does high importance on all emails, he marks the "flag for follow up" option so the email automatically stays at the top of your inbox until you open it. :roll:

I make sure I set Outlook to tell me when someone requests a read receipt, then i make sure I don't send it.
