the quiet familiar emptiness‬
‪had become almost soothing‬
the sound of her voice‬
a distant memory‬
from an unbelievably wretched past‬
she told him her secrets‬
and he believed the lies‬

how could six simple words‬
‪
hold him hostage‬
for so long‬
bringing joy‬
and pain‬
yet in the end,‬
mean so little?‬

‪
"I love you,‬
always and forever‬"

‪captivating, yet ultimately meaningless

    it amazes me how someone can love so much
    and then turn into bile

    it's only chemical

    we should say
    "i am chemically drawn to you now
    in what feels like forever
    but before i know it
    those chemicals develop tolerance
    and eventually
    i will despise the sight of you
    the sound of your voice will be like fingernails on a chalkboard
    the thought of fucking you will annoy me
    and the thought of kissing you
    will literally turn my stomach"

    Its amazing how "love" can quickly turn to "hate" .... ( always and forever ) - is there really such a thing ??
