When I was railing it across Europe with 4 of my friends, as a youth - one of my friends used to have this trick to clear the carriage compartment- so we could get some sleep..... he would grind up his asthma inhaler tablets and then start snorting lines of them off the table top. He's a little bit odd - which is why we still get on so well

I think the effect he was going for was more on the observers than himself. He used to crack them out in a compartment full of screaming children late at night, and then watch the parents move into another compartment. He kind of has his own version of morality - and it's no use arguing with him. Still, we did get some good nights sleep as a result of his antics!

Yeah they were great times - I have 15 years of memories crammed into about 5 weeks from that summer. There was a lot more to remember than screaming children and going to sleep. Stories.... of debauchery, mischievousness, high risk and rebellion. Seems a long way from sitting in front of the fire typing and sipping my tea.....sorry - beer!
