wonder where he'll go.....Would CNN bring him in? They're plenty desperate for ratingsNew lineup: O'Donnell at 8, Maddow at 9, Ed Schultz at 10. O'Donnell & Maddow both Olbermann proteges/former guest hosts
He's got a HUGE following. He'll probably launch his own website and have his own video stream. I'll happily buy his shows from iTunes (I don't have cable TV of any kind, just iTunes, NetFlix and Hulu).
Lots of people would.
Yeah... he's a bit of a blowhard and can be pretty "my way or the highway." But he's usually spot-on.
I will miss him. He was the first cable news person to call Bush out on the crap that was going on. Other networks were still in the post-9-11 "we're all Americans and the world loves us" mode. Keith showed courage and publicly said Bush was full of shit. I hope he finds a public venue so those of us who followed him can continue to do so.
It's nice to be nice to the nice.

CNN is saying he can't do tv for 2 years. But he can do radio. Don't know if that's true.
I would absolutely love it if he reunited with "tag team partner" Dan Patrick on his radio show. Highly unlikely as it may be. When Imus got canned here in NY from WFAN, I was hoping they would take over that slot and do a sports/entertainment/politics show
Hmm. I didn't hear that he's leaving, but perhaps it's because he's been censored. This clip (which I think does NOT deserve censorship) has been removed by MSNBC. If anyone should be censored, it should be the racial remarks made by Bill O'Reilly on his show.
I would say that he is a left Rush-lite, but a little more fact-based.
I would agree with that but tries do that with some sensationalism.

Keith is nothing like Rush. Comparing those two is like comparing Pearl Jam to Creed.

Well they are, both are blowhards. Of course whatever side of the fence you are on one is a fool and the other a genius.
Olbermann should have stuck to Sportscenter (I was a big fan of the Big Show), of course he wanted to go "legit" and be able to air his political opinions.
