Patti Smith and Eddie?

Just listened to an awesome PJ version of "People Have the Power." I've heard the bad (IMHO) Patti Smith version of "Alive." Have Ed and Patti ever shared a stage? Are they acquainted?

Even though I didn't like Patti's "Alive," I do really like her music. Dream of Life is one of my most favorite albums, ever! :p

    Eddie was on stage with Patti Smith and a whole lot of others performing People Have the Power at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony where she was inducted. Video is on YouTube.
