A Flowers Light

I read about Iran wiping them out
Deny the Holocaust someone shouts
Your smile lines my vision
A vision I wish had a different address
An absolute mess at best

I built a fence around a desert flower
A bright desert flower turned black
The entrance rewarded me often as I began to starve it
So I closed the entrance gate ackwardly with four years worth of hours
I made sure my mediterranean salted palet refrained from starving my colourless flower anymore

So I built a fence to make sure her future secured her water
This is how I know I loved her

My desert flower back
Shining again, Shining bright
She's living, breathing deep
Her art crushing them aside
Claiming ground each and every leap
A background song playing along
Feeling it's pain while moving on but quenched of thirst

As her mother will be the first
We will all one day simply arrive
Patiently waiting
It
It will present itself at the moment in time
