How to Stop Spammers?

Please help - some butthole spammer has been using my email address to send spam. Luckily they didn't get my in my address book, but I keep getting all these Mail Delivery Subsystem return emails - sometimes 200 a day. How can I stop these jerks? Seriously, they're using MY email address, how is that legal?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. (I took out my email address - btw, I am NOT Brice Stout.)

I tried reporting this to spam places but nobody seems interested. And I like my email, I don't want to change it. I tried calling that stupid number and you get a machine and they say they'll call you back and they don't. How many people really call this number anyway?
Argh.
