Okay, just got done with my first listening of Live on Ten Legs, and wow! The drums sound amazing! I keep seeing posts like "Dave A. WAS Pearl Jam," and "I like Matt, but it was so much better with Dave A." Well, to anyone who has thought that, give this a listen. Matt just kills it live, and this album is proof. Nothing against Dave A, (or Jack, or Dave K, or Matt Chamberlain), but Matt is a beast. I've loved what every drummer has brought to the band, but there is no denying the greatness that is, Matt Cameron!

I'll take a listen when I pick it up one day. :D

Matt is great on his stuff, but I think Chamberlain and Abbruzzese are the two most cohesive drummers on the material they played - but LOXL may be different than any of the boots I've heard.

the biggest difference between LOXL and all the official boots that its compiled from is the mix of the drums. They sound so lively as opposed to the mud of the boots. You can hear Matt's intensity and just how good he is.

I think once this record has sunk in there will be a lot less argument as to who the kind of live Pearl Jam drumming is.

Agreed! From the fill at the end of the bridge through the end of the song is fire.
