Can't wait for Friday. Isn't Friday the 24 hour thing or is that another day coming up? I think games start at noon on Friday.

I might be going to the UConn/Fairfield game on 12/22. Should hopefully be a blow out, but I'll have to head to a Big East game this season.

I'll root for Duquesne, only because one of the kids from my high school plays for them.

I've always preferred college ball to the NBA.

They play my boys from Towson on Friday. Should be ugly.

Towson has a real young team this year. And they are gonna get younger. Great to see. The CAA is a solid conference for a mid-major.

I love what our new AD has done with the football and hoops programs. Finally got rid of Pat Kennedy (yeah, the guy that coached at FSU when Sam Cassell was there...I think he lost twice as many games as he won at towson). Brought in a new coach this year that was an assistant under Jaime Dixon at Pitt.

Newch, our football coach has us at 7-2...ranked 12th in the FCS. Big game this weekend as they try to get a bye in the round 1 of the playoffs. He was the OC for Randy Edsall at UConn. He's only been at Towson for two years and he's completely turned the program around.

Great to see the Towson sports programs making strides. Hoops facility update on the way as well. Awesome stuff

Nice. Edsall ran a great program when he was at UConn. Too bad he's a dick for the way he left.

Still a good coach. Back in the summer 2006, I was up at the main campus for a summer program and I was in an elevator with him. It was pretty cool.

Vanderbilt being upset two games into the season. Could this be a sign of an exciting college basketball season?

Yeah, now UNC will be pissed against my Badgers on Wed. Big next three out of four games for Wisconsin, @UNC, vs Marquette, and vs UNLV.

Didn't UNLV go undefeated in '90 (not incl. NCAA tourny)? Were they the last team?

Yes they were. I used to live in Durham so I've seen how delusional High Heel fans are up close.

They were unbeaten in 1991 before losing to Duke. The last unbeaten team in college ball was 1976 Indiana.
