Well dubstep seems to be the it sound in indie rock right now. even britney spears is releasing a new album inspired by dubstep.

the it artist in the genre has got to be james blake, the guys like 23 years old, and pitchfork, nme and bbc all are saying his new album is one of the most anticipated of the year.

check out this song, a standout track from his debut, a cover of Feist's Limit to Your Love

At 55 seconds in, that beat is so sick. sounds like a damn helicopter.

I hate this song, it comes on the radio and I immediately have to change it. The sparseness adds nothing to the song and the song goes on way too long. The beat is bland, the lyrics go nowhere, the song goes no where, it's just repetative and incredibly slow moving. The drilling impact of this song is comparable to Chinese Water Torture.

But, have fun following this trend.
