MFC and a REM song

Listening to MFC a while ago and it suddenly struck me that this sounds like a REM song that I remember. I think the song is called 'Auctioneer' or something like that. Has anyone else thought they are similiar sounding?

    did you mean "I Believe"? the beginning is very similar to mfc hah

    Auctioneer (Another Engine) is an REM song. From Fables Of The Reconstruction. Sounds vaguely like MFC for a few seconds.
