Did Eddie ever learn how to pronounce "Ament"?

I don't know how its actually pronounced, but I've heard Eddie say it a number of different ways over the years.

for example:
A-ment - like how you say the letter "A"
AH-ment - like "Amen" with a "t" on the end.
AM ent

and yes, I have the day off and nothing better to do...wanna fight about it?

This is rather amusing, Eddie has been pronouncing JA's name forever...it is pronounced A-ment, as in rhyming with Amen...

Some people say A-men some people say aw-men. Notably, nobody says it Uh-men.

More importantly, Stone says that it is 'A-ment', and whenever Stone speaks, you listen.

I've noticed that recently, he has been pronouncing it "ay-meant" - maybe Jeff finally educated him after all those years?

I just heard Ed get it right and THEN wrong on the Manchester 6/21/12 boot. He said, "Please say hello to Jeff Ay-ment! .... Uh-ment!" Why can't he remember?!?

New video too. I very recently heard him say his own name for some charity blurb or something and took note. It's Ay-ment (or, as a Canadian, I say it's Eh-ment). We've gotta go with how he pronounces his own name I think! ;) So swear to god, that's how Jeff says it, so I think the matter is settled! Luckily the correct pronunciation feels most natural to me.

Sorry, I have no memory of where I found it. I found in the course of doing an extensive search about how to pronounce his name, but once I confirmed how he pronounced it, I didn't bother remembering what he speaking for, since my question was answered and I was satisfied! (seriously though, I really did hear it ). I'm sure you'll stumble upon it too if you search around. He's said his name probably dozens of times on camera.

I've listened to PJ Radio on Siruis and there are breaks with Jeff and he says "Hi, this is Jeff Ament - that's A-ment - and you're listening to Pearl Jam radio".
"There's a $10,000 bill in it for you."
"Oh yeah? Which president's on it?"
"Uh, all of them. They're having a party. Jimmy Carter's passed out on the couch."
