oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Back in 1997 I took my (tape player) stereo to school with me cuz the computers had internet. I hooked my stereo up and went on fivehorizons.com (and maybe synergy too) and played a bunch of rare live stuff through the stereo and recorded it onto my tape.

...right. Sitting there for hours just to get that song on tape...then they play it and the frickin dj talks thru the whole intro, up to the first vocal note, forever tainting your 'shared file'...
I also remember going to the library to check out LP's, then dubbing to cassette at home....

 love it. I remember taping songs off the radio cuz I couldn't get the cassette or 45 single  hated when the DJ would talk over the beginning and end of it, or worse cut it off entirely.
