2nd Chord in Brother

Ok......so I play Brother starting in G# and then go to an odd chord after. I cannot figure it out for the life of me. I have seen tabs that show it with 0 5- 6 -7 -X - X kind of chord but it just doesn't sound right to me. Sounds like it is missing a note in between or is an obscure 7th or 9th chord i can't think of. Any suggestions or hints on how to play the 2nd chord?
