is Long Road planned to be 20 minutes long?

I remember someone posting a link to a longer (17 minutes) version of long road. Anyone have it?

i might be wrong, but I think its from San diego 95 or 96, ed told the story of how it was written, thus making it a longer than normal version. 10 or so mins of talking then 7 mins of song. Might be wrong as its been a long time since I listened to it.

Again, no. It was a 20 minutes long studio version. Imagine that the version on Merkin Ball was an edit from the version i am looking for.

It's on the "score" version of the soundtrack, not the regular one. You can get it used from Amazon.com here: http://www.amazon.com/Dead-Man-Walking-David-Robbins/dp/B000002BKM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1223923450&sr=1-4

Correct. There's 'Dead Man Walking: The Motion Picture Soundtrack' and 'Dead Man Walking: The Score'. They're two different albums. The long Long Road is on the 'The Score'.
    My Pearl Jam shows: 1 in 1995, 2 in 1998, 20 in 2003, 13 in 2006, 3 in 2007, 8 in 2008, 5 in 2009, 4 in 2010, 5 in 2012. EV: 8 in 2011, 1 in 2012. Brad: 1 in 1998, 1 in 2002.

this is not what the OP is looking for though. i have both of these, and the Long Rd. on the Score is not 20 mins. long.

I don't think such a thing actually exists, unless it's a live improv-type version. The longest versions I know of are the Score version, and then the live Not In Our Name. But both those are the Ed/Nusrat version... not the PJ/Neil version.

    I am looking for noodles.
    I like noodles.
They're kind of like ice cream.
Except they don't really look or taste like ice cream.
    Noodles are funny like that.
