Any helpful tips about seeing great music in Ireland? Clubs venues bars that showcase local or regional talent...

If you are in Dublin, you MUST go to The Pint on Eden Quay. We ended up there before and after the PJ show last June and it was AWESOME. Say hello to the pub owner Patrick Skully from the Americans he sent the Guiness flag to in December!

If you are going to Galway, hit up the Quays. We saw some great bands play there, both traditional and contemporary (U2, Jim Morrison covers). Fun crowd, very cool atmosphere.
