Megafaun!

Ive been listening to Megafaun's album "gather, form and fly" on an almost daily basis. I recommend it to anyone!

    I went to this show last night on a whim, after only hearing two of their songs, but I liked the vibe, so I checked it out. Very, very cool intimate show. Less than 50 people in the venue. I really like their style, it's folky like Fleet Foxes, but they have a hard experimental edge on some songs.


    At the end of the show, for their encore, they came into the crowd, made us gather around them in a circle and played a tune busker style. Very cool moment.

    Anyways, yeah they have two albums out and an EP out. Pretty good stuff for a quiet rainy day indoors. Their latest album just came out Sept 20, 2011

    On a side note, Bon Iver was in a band with these three guys prior to this. He left and Megafaun rose from that. Worth checking out, if you are into the genre.
