Well, we already know Shawn Smith performs vocals on several tracks, and that Juanny Cash kid on at least one, so I'm not sure Stone will be doing a lot of singing on this album.

good call on that one- and no one can ever say that Shawn can't sing

No doubt! Stone's played at least one show back in May as "The Hank Williams Choir," and it featured lots of established artists...I don't know what his vocal contributions were at the show(s), but I'm def thinking he won't be singing much.

I love Stone's voice! Why is everyone so anxious for the Living Room show if they don't like the way he sings???
Look, just the way he sings the word "cadillac" in, well "Cadillac," I, personally, don't know how any red blooded heterosexual woman can listen to that and say, eh! If that goes on in the car, I have to pull over

Shawn is a talented singer, but (and I know I will be attacked for this) I prefer Stone's vocals. I wouldn't question that Shawn is the more talented vocalist, but Stone has a very unique tone that I enjoy. I will NEVER understand the amount of negative views towards Stone's singing. Perhaps the fact that my tastes are rooted in punk rock makes the difference? Either way, rock music has had plenty of singers who were told they couldn't "sing".
Iggy Pop
Nick Cave
Lou Reed
Tom Waits
Bruce Springsteen
Every "punk" singer except for Glenn Danzig (misfits)
Etc, etc, etc
Good thing EVERYBODY doesn't have limited taste is singers, huh?

Good thing you don't travel in my car, or we'd be spending an awful lot of time on the shoulder of the road. LOL!

I have no prob with Stone's vox...I can live with him singing, but I do find him to be a bit boring for my taste. I just get excited anytime Shawn lends his vocals to a project (if that wasn't obvious, lol).
I actually love plenty of "bad" vocalists though, including:
Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers, Gutter Twins)
Robin Proper Shepard (Sophia, God Machine)
Joe Strummer (Clash)
