It really was great, but for some reason I like their stuff's sound with just them on stage is that weird?

Agreed. I've seen them a few times throughout the years as a duo which was incredible that it was just 2 guys turning out so much sound. I love Brothers and saw them on tour where they'll do 1/2 show as a duo and then do Brothers stuff as a four piece. Brothers stuff is amazing live as well but I think my preference is still them rocking as a duo.

i agree. brothers isn't even my favorite BK disc. for me, it's missing that raw energy that their previous material possesses and i think that has to do with the duo vs. four-piece.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

I agree, both great bands but VW seems a bit arrogant. I'm holding out for the Black Keys, too.
