I'll be there for 1 month or so, working in Burbank. I've been to LA many times in the past, but never been in that area. Just need to know what has to be seen up there.

I'll be located nearby the downtown area.

    Besides the tv and movie studios, there isn't much to see there. The residential streets look like a scene from the 1970s.

    there is a reason johnny carson made fun of burbank

    best bet is to head east to pasadena, south to los feliz or west to studio city or head over the hill from there to the strip

    And if you like sushi, come to Studio City - it's sushi-land. Some good bars, too.
