Has anyone seen this movie?

It chronicles JP's retirement from acting, and his endeavors to make a hip-hop record.

I watched it a few days ago....very funny stuff....very convincing!

It is a bit too long, but full of great scenes.

    No offense but I just had absolutely no desire to see this movie. His whole shtick was just so predictable from his Letterman to appearance to this movie, etc. It might be one of those movies where if I see it pop up on streaming Netflix and I'm really bored, I might check it out. ha

    Thats what I did..I was sick at home, and watched it on Netflix. As long as you don't take it seriously, it is hilarious.

    I really enjoyed the movie. I reluctantly admit I was very intrigued by him after his appearance on Letterman.
    It is a very funny doc and yes, maybe a bit long but when else do you get to see a famous actor get shit on?? literally .. Wonder what he is doing now??

    he went on Letterman and apologized for using his show as a vehicle for his hoax. he is now back acting for real. as he put it "if anyone will take me".

    Word is Letterman knew when he showed up for the interview and went along with it throughout the interview so I dont know why Phoenix needs to apologize.

    yeah, that's the theory. I think he went on and apologized to make it look as if Letterman didn't know.
