Did You Know When Googling Yourself...

If you type in your name and then on images there's pictures of yourself? (I think especially if you're on facebook, it shows your profile picture).

I'm bored and playing around, I just thought it was a little creepy that it was that easy to find a picture of myself on the internet :shock:

    I'm sure if you scrolled through the pics you'd find yourself eventually. I put in a family members name and I didn't find a pic of her until a few pages later.

    if you were born after 1989, you should not have your hometown listed on facebook.

    doesn't work for me.

    i did it with and without my middle initial

    scanned thru some 10 pages of pictures and i didn't show up.

    i typed my name in...my facebook was the first link. showed all my friends as well :o

    so i sorted out the public search engine settings on my facebook account, hopefully i'll be off google in a bit.

    that's scary, even if you have an old fashioned landline with an unlisted number, your year of birth and address are displayed, with a map and an arrow pointing to your house. it's not by phone records, it can show up even if you donate money to a charity. zaba's disclaimer says if you ask them to remove your name, it's out of their control if it shows up later (magazine subscription for example besides property records or the charity donation.)
    the way to not be shown is to have a p.o. box.

    I guess since i'm in Canada the only thing that shows up for me is the town I live in when I search my landline.

    when i googled my name w/o quotes, it showed pics of anyone with any of my 3 names, it was THOUSANDS of people.

    Wow! I've never heard of zabasearch before. Apparently there are seven (or eleven, duplicate listings maybe?) people with my name listed. Four of them in PA :shock: :?
