They're both good. I prefer Single Video Theory, though. I'm not really a big fan of sitting around watching a concert DVD. Hell, I watched SVT with some people who aren't huge PJ fans, and they even liked it.
I'd recommend any PJ dvd, they all have something different.
Single Video Theory is a nice little look at the band in the studio, rehearsing songs and talking about how they made Yield. It's lovely seeing the band so relaxed and happy, but it's just a tad too short!
Showbox has some super intense moments, such as Mike's solo during Half Full, and Ed's now-infamous tag at the end of 'Daughter'; it's worth buying the dvd for those moments alone! However, the band is extremely rough-sounding at some points, but it all adds to the fun of the show. They're rehearsing, they're loose and they're having fun.
Buy them!

I never saw Shobox. SVT is great, though. I remember my Canadian Geography teachers showed that to our class when I was in 10th grade. We were supposed to have a test and she was like "we aren't having the test. Instead, we're going to watch a Pearl Jam movie!" I nearly shit myself.

Yeah, my teacher was awesome. I remember we were both so worried about getting tickets to the St. John's show (when I was in grade 12). We both ended up getting tickets, then they added another show, anyways. There was 5 or 6 teachers from my school that went to the shows.
