Long Island statehood?

I'm for it.

Same with PR, USVI, Guam, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Is.

Read something about it randomly the other day.

    all of those places are too small for statehood, except maybe Long Island which may have a large enough population. Do you really want Guam or USVI to have the same number of votes in the senate as California, New York, Texas, or Pennsylvania? crazy talk

    I'm stumped ... are you referring to Long Island, NY (as in New York State)?

    Cook County, Illinois needs statehood. That way the rest of Illinois can return to normal.
