With your hands
disguised as blindfolds
you whisper;

‘you’ll see better this way’.

I open my mouth
you rescue my tongue
with gentle ease
and I know I’ll never speak again.

This is the way we were meant to meet
blind and breathless
and its okay…

because I know the air is coming
it’s coming
to swallow us
and set us free.
Pepper- I am faith without religion, without bruised knees and pleas for forgiveness...

    Outstanding.

    I'm glad to see one of my favorite writes back her on the board.
    Peace, Love.
