It's a shame the finish is nothing like Ed's. Ed's has metallic flake in it and I think black duck tape.

    Here is Ed's Telecaster:

However, you should have no trouble getting rid of it for that price if they are in fact Fralin Pickups in it considering that alone probably cost you at least $200 without installation.

  • Wow thanks for the backhanded insult; I'm well aware of what Ed's Telecaster is like, this is a custom copy, not a Fender Custom Shop replica that costs three grand. I put a lot of work, time and money into this. Warmoth didn't offer a sparkle finish, so I just went with black. And yes, the pickups are custom Fralin's, paid $160 for the pair from http://www.acmeguitarworks.com/, and they had to special order them from Fralin, took three months to get them made. Even got replacement Fender decals for the headstock from http://www.decaldeluxe.com/. If you're not interested don't bother responding, but don't mock my work or my guitar.

I never said anything backhanded, nor did I mock your work. In fact, I think it's awesome and would love to have it. All I said was it isn't a copy of Ed's guitar, which it isn't. It is still awesome because a tele with a P90 still kicks ass especially with a fralin P90. I actually think you could get more for it than what you are asking especially having Fralin's in it. I think you could probably get $800 for it easily. Not on Craigslist but on Ebay definitely. Way too many scammers on Craigslist.
