    Well, for charity a great move. But that doesn't look too cold, here in Finland it is a traditional thing to take a dip trough a hole made in the ice. This is said to improve blood circulation, among other things.

    I agree, the weather and water could have been much worse... but I don't like going outside this time of year, never mind running into 37 degree water.

    I live at the beach and my friends and I have definitely done the drunken winter dare on a pretty regular basis. And then the drunken winter hangover cure. It is so fucking freezing and SF doesn't even usually get colder than 45 degrees. and that is really cold! Big cheers to all of you crazy mother fuckers who do that shit in icy waters.
