Is there a way to have music on my iPod but not in my computer?

    When you connect your iPod there should be an option that says manually manage music, hit that. Now you'll have to manually put and take songs off your iPod, but you can add to your iPod but delete from your hard drive without any problems.

    You could also check out a program called Sharepod. The program is done by one guy as a hobby. It works pretty well.
