What are your favorite movies in each category? Sci-fi, adventure, drama, thriller, mystery, suspense, action, comedy, romance(for the girls, of course) and whatever other genres you can think of!

    Most of these, haven't seen From Hell so my pick there is 12 Monkeys, probably my favorite movie. Fallen is a close second in mystery / suspense.
    Western(ish) - Dead Man (starring Depp, music by Neil Young and one of Robert Mitchum's last movies)
    Not a fan of horrors.

    adventure.....Romancing the Stone & Jewel of the Nile

    drama...... Godfather I & II

    thrilller/ horror .....Jurassic Park or Arachnophobia :lol:

    mystery.....Sleepy Hollow :D

    suspense.....Sixth Sense

    action......Arnold...Arnold and anything Arnold 8-)

    romance......City of Angels

    kids.... Finding Nemo and Up

    Thriller - Misery
    Adventure - The original Star Wars trilogy, no doubt.
    Mystery - Memento or Mystic River
    Suspense - No Country For Old Men

    Crime - Goodfellas
    Comedy - The Big Lebowski or Dumb and Dumber, both movies never get old.

    Zombies don't necessarily have to be the living dead, either. So with that said:
