Most of these, haven't seen From Hell so my pick there is 12 Monkeys, probably my favorite movie. Fallen is a close second in mystery / suspense.
Western(ish) - Dead Man (starring Depp, music by Neil Young and one of Robert Mitchum's last movies)
Not a fan of horrors.
adventure - Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom
drama - LOTR trilogy
thriller - Notorious
mystery - The Thin Man
suspense - Rear Window
horror - don't like horror movies
action - Gladiator
comedy - tie between Night at the Opera and Airplane
romance - tie between Bridges of Madison County, City Lights and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
