So now we've got our "best of" lists out of the way, what releases are you looking forward to in 2011? I haven't heard about too many other than RHCP, R.E.M., and Drive-By Truckers, which are at the top of my list.

  • No doubt looking forward to the new Foo Fighters album. Saw them live in 08 and they were awesome, and I've been a fan for a while, plus this album is gonna be heavier and more kick ass, which is one of their specialties.
Cage the Elephant is awesome live too, and I already pre-ordered their album. Saw them when they opened for STP, and OMG Matt Schulz can sing his ass off even while he's moving at a million miles an hour.

PJ>>Lo10L and whatever else gets put out....Wouldn't it be amazing if they went back to the master tapes and did them over for new vinyl presses. A few already sound pretty damn good on vinyl, imagine how good they all could sound.

Social D, MMJ, and the Drive By Truckers for sure of ones already mentioned.

Iron & Wine, Dirtbombs, Gruff Rhys, Amanda Palmer all have releases next year too.

If that Metacritic link is accurate on they tentative releases, I'll pick up the Cars and Outkast recordings too.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.
