pretty freaking wild

good thing the funeral mass i'am leaving for is right across the street
i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......

    It's kinda nice. Last night it felt empty and quiet on the roads. But I'm totally snowed in. I thought to park the car near the main road. But the road to the road has 3 ft drifts

    What a nightmare for them. That happened when Mr. Unlost's grandmother died. The funeral was the morning after a huge blizzard and only a few of us made it. Then they couldn't do the burial until the spring.

    26 inches here with snow drifts over 4 feet... Great for kids... Great for Dad because he can't leave the house :mrgreen:

    Flew in Friday from Florida to visit mom & give her care-giver Christmas weekend off. Was suppose to leave (stand-by :evil: ) to Denver Tuesday & meet my wife who is off for 2 weeks. Looks like this good deed will continue for a few more days. The care giver is stranded & will not be able to make it back today. And who knows when I'll be able to make it to Denver flying stand-by with all the cancellations & the airports here in NY closed :evil: . The good news is If I can't get out till Friday I should be able to find a cheap seat for the Phish show at the garden Thursday night :mrgreen: .

    Two weeks ago it snowed (for 1 hour) in my city...after 15 years!! It was a chaos!!! Sorry but I prefer the sunny days!! :):):)

    they basically brought the church to the funeral home and had mass right in the room

    this will be 2 days i will never forget...

    It's been fun driving around in my Jeep. they plowed Union Turnpike, but the side streets are buried.

    I'm trying to get to Maspeth, to my fiance's place, but they've only plowed some of the main streets there. I hope the LIE is clean dude.
