    Free Energy is kinda cool. That smooth, easy going, 70's groove, but they can sling some rock. Saw them twice in 2010 as my friend booked one of their shows here in LA at The Viper Room.

    Hope they get back in 2011!

    Great "local"band from philly. Didn't get their album yet though. Local "internet indy" stations have been playing a lot of their stuff though. :)

    Saw them last night. They were a fun/energetic band. Bought the cd afterwards. Very first band was called the Sweat Hearts, they were ok. Next up was The Postelles, they were good. Free Energy played for over an hour. Played a few covers like "Funky Town" and "I Won't Back Down".


    Anyone else from the boards there? I saw one dude with a Pearl Jam shirt "08 East Coast tour".
