Stolen Moments

she feels right,..
when she lays by me
a good fit
they are just stolen moments
lasting just long enough
to make me want her more
just long enough,.
to make me stare at the ceiling
the rest of the night
unable to sleep without her
her presence alone is soothing
she is the drug that quiets my mind
and when she goes,..
it lingers with me,..
but never long enough
I’ll not sleep,
but I will dream
of our stolen moments in time
