Yeah I feel ya. I've been checking pollstar and pitchfork for tour dates like crazy but there's just not much coming up. I think I always get like this around Dec and Jan...

I've been feeling exactly the same way lately. I have nothing at all on my concert calendar...
  • Maybe go check out some local bands, you could be impressed!
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

I heard they almost burned down the Ranger banners with their pyro-tech show  . The Rangers would need another 50 years to win another  . Jonesin big time for a show too. I was suppose to leave for Colorado Tuesday but now I'm stuck in NY till Friday. Hoping for a few no-shows because of the snow at the garden Thursday for the sold out Phish show. Looking to find a cheap ticket out on the street. Last year in Miami they were giving tickets away  .

Unfortunately they're not the same show. I'm trying to decide which one I'd rather see as I probably won't have the $ for both. I've always been more inclined to Ice Cube. Been a fan since I was a youngin'.

Was talking about that last night, that's what I settled on simply for that reason. Too bad he doesn't have his perm and is sporting a late 80's Los Angeles Raiders cap.

And I'm curious if he still preforms his older stuff compared to his number songs. Not really a fan after War & Peace, Vol. 1 (The War Disc).

I thought his music career started to go downhill with the Peace album - but his older stuff - WOW! Damn good stuff

my best friend in HS stole it from me - claimed someone stole it from him when I left him borrow it. Years later, when I was at his house for a party, I found the fucker in his CD collection and he just started laughing when I asked him about it.

It sounds like the only things some consider 'shows' are events from national artists that take place in theater-sized venues or greater.

I go to shows somewhere between 3-5 times a week...but then I live in Los Angeles which is a heavy music market, from clubs to arenas. I stick mostly to the clubs and mid-sized venues and so far have 3 shows lined up this week.
