Gee Krist looks more and more like his dad as he gets older.
I saw a photo of his dad in some article, shame I can't find it.

I was there. Sitting on the stage for this right in front of the empty mic stand center stage.
    An unreal moment.

We were gonna go, but the wife and I were both sick, so we didn't wanna be out late and in a crowded bar!

    Was it very crowded?

should had chad channing on drums to make it a true reunion minus kurt

anyone else think that when nirvana does get inducted in the r n r hall of fame that chad and kris and pat and dave will play . i think that be a great thing and not disrespect kurt .
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

  • Courtney will probably file suit to try to block that from happening, unless they let her sing lead.

Former Nirvana members reunite at secret Foo Fighters gig

Dave Grohl's band also debut four new songs at US show

Former members of Nirvana have reunited at a secret Foo Fighters gig in the US.

Dave Grohl, former bassist Krist Novoselic and guitarist Pat Smear performed together for the first time since Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994 at the Paladino's club on Tuesday (December 21).

The trio played 'Marigold' the non-album b-side of Nirvana's 'Heart-Shaped Box' with Grohl both singing lead and performing behind the drums to an audience which included Juliette Lewis and No Doubt's Tony Kanal.

The show also saw Foo Fighters debut four new songs - 'Back + Forth', 'White Limo', 'Dear Rosemary' and 'These Days' - from their forthcoming seventh studio album.

The gig was held to celebrate the completion of the as-yet-untitled record which features Novoselic playing accordion and bass on one track, 'I Should Have Known'. It is being produced by Butch Vig, who produced Nirvana's breakthrough 1991 album 'Nevermind'.

"I had the same feeling listening back to this album that I did two decades ago listening to a Nirvana song like 'Lounge Act'" Grohl told Rollingstone.com. "It's even got the same snare sound as 'Nevermind', Butch is good at that."

    Foo Fighters played:

    'Times Like These'
    'Generator'
    'My Hero'
    'The Pretender'
    'Back + Forth'
    'Learn To Fly'
    'White Limo'
    'For All The Cows'
    'Dear Rosemary'
    'Skin + Bones'
    'Cold Day In The Sun'
    'Long Road To Ruin'
    'Enough Space'
    'These Days'
    'Best Of You'
    'Everlong'
    'Monkey Wrench'
    'All My Life'
    'Marigold'
    'This Is A Call'

i hope the rock n roll hall of fame has enough sense to not let that garbage near the nirvana induction ceremony. i'm getting nightmares just thinking bout courtney playing with dave and kris.
