Yeah, it is cloudy here too. Should be in full eclipse mode now...hope it clears up before we're totally out of it.

Not the best shot, but here's something for those who can't see it. It actually looks better on a camera than it did with my eye.

I think it actually looks better with the eye. Pretty friggin' cool. But god damn is it cold out! I think I had my share of looking at it.

Ugh. I got up and everything, and it turned cloudy by then. That pic is pretty cool!
We did get to check out a big buck in our yard earlier in the night, feasting on the grass. The bright moon and snow let us check it out perfectly and hung around for a good half hour.

Couldn't have asked for a better view. Then the moon this morning as I was coming into work, hovering just above the horizon, was like a giant shiny silver dollar in the sky. It was huge!

wow that's awesome. nothing like that where i was standing.
i was expecting red but it wasn't all that spectacular here
wonder why? it wasn't really too cloudy.
i'm thinking maybe just too many lights in town to have a good view.
glad it was awesome for you guys!
    peace,

Weird thing was that it looked grey to me, it only looked red through the pictures I took. Was kind of hazy too, maybe that's what did it for the eye. Was cool to see though.

It was pretty clear down here in the Palm Beaches. However, I went out and was amazed how really bright it was outside, the horse in the adjacent lot was still munching on some hay. I was tempted to go for a short bike ride around our lake just the thought of seeing everything was exciting enough. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera I loaned it out to a friend. :(
