Ripping DVD's to digital files

Anyone use a program for this? I want to put TV episodes from our dvd's like Friends, 24, etc onto a computer server so that they can be accessed by devices to play directly from the server. Any suggestions on a good program for this?

I've never tried it but the "user" in the video always had great copies of movies in avi / divx format.

are your trying to convert DVD files to like MP4

http://handbrake.fr/ ..... its free


Also if copy right is a problem u might need to find yourself DVDshrink .. then you would convert with handbrake
