  • Even more disgusting that a COMEDY show and Al-jazeria (sp) are the ones reporting it, instead of, you know, major news networks. The whole thing makes my blood boil.

The news is supposed to report this shit. Why aren't Fox, CNN, and MSNBC all over this? Why aren't the democrats screaming about this making it front page news that the GOP is blocking this?

Yeah. I can understand blocking a tax bill or whatever, but why the fuck are they blocking this? I want ONE GOP Senator to give a straight answer.

    the joys of capitalism.

the aristocracy; putting the 'mock' in democracy.

hundreds of billions to the rich? no problem. letting an emergency worker who risked their lives to save others to see a doctor? hell no, this is merika.

To be clear, it was stated that two of the panelists were too ill to travel, and the third had passed.
EDIT: "Passed" meaning he is now deceased, to be explicit.

Shame, Congress, shame on you! Sign now and pass this bill!

Right on for posting this, Indent.

There is a special place in hell reserved for these so called politicians who won't pass this bill.

Remember it was during the thick of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan that the Cheney regime along with the republicans in congress that tried to cutback funding for the V.A. and wanted to reduce benefits for the families of those killed in battle.

Exactly, BP. Inadequate services for vets (and in this case, first responders) has too long been one of the great shames of America. Unless we change this now this will go down in history as a major egregious national failure.
