  • Boston Night 2 was amazing. My N1 experience was lousy as my view was obstructed for much of the night, so it’s hard for me to say if N2 was a better show or just a better experience for me.
It was a fantastic show start to finish, high energy, little to no down time between songs, this band is a wagon right now. Also: Jack White is one of the greatest performers I’ve ever seen in my life. The guy’s a f’n phenom.

sorry @dankind, I looked for the GID shirt, but didn’t see it.

I grabbed one of each poster, and while I haven’t unrolled them since getting home, they looked REALLY impressive at the stand. I’m looking forward to taking these out, and maybe getting them framed side by side for my office. It was a nice surprise to see the Monday night poster on sale last night as well.... as mentioned, if you were on an upper level Monday, you had to request a staff escort to the merch stand on the floor. F that, I want to be as far away from all HOB staff as possible.

    That's kind of you.

I'll pass, as I have a lot going on next week, but I appreciate the offer.

It will go great in my raccoon/squirrel poster theme room..

    I don't get it.

I think the best print was the crystal ball.

The uncut is cool. Had I not grabbed one of each last night, I might consider it... but I'm glad I only spent $70 as opposed to $150.

I got the Nashville Hatch poster off ebay for $90.  $20 at show but only 120 printed.  Sold out when I was about 10 people back from line.

Funny story....the merch line was fucked up at the Ryman.  They put merch upstairs so we were all lined up the stairway to form the line.  Problem was it was a split staircase so some people were going up the other stairs and then cutting in line up top.  We were talking to this guy who was behind us on the stairs and he kept saying that he didn't want a poster, just a shirt, etc.  I think he was trying to get people to let him in front of them.  At some point he disappeared.  About 30 minutes later I watched that fucker buy the last hatch poster....we stood there and watched him.  He then did the walk of shame to get by us because my wife was getting in his face about cutting in line.  What a dick.

Is that right?  Interesting.  I guess that would make sense, being a Detroit thing.  I was never into punk myself.

  • Such a good live show.  Really great.  Any version of Jack White is terrific.

My top 4 all time live acts are Pearl Jam, Muse, Jack White and Cage the elephant.  Cage is in their prime I think, but the rest are still amazing.  Probably rank them this way at this very moment live: 1) Pearl Jam 2) Cage 3) Jack 4) Muse
