should he be fired ?????
I don't think so but he should get a HUGE fine...unless this type of stuff is reoccurring for him.

  • Pretty dirty. I'd say BIG fine, but probably not fired....

I saw this yesterday. Fines mean nothing to these players (and coaches), and as long as the NFL only enforces fines rather than suspensions, the dirty plays will continue.

oh man i was speechless yesterday when we were watching the game!
i was saying nnaaawwwhhhh he could,t have done that on purpose
but after the multiple replays, even slo-mo
well it just couldn't be denied
    unbelievable
glad no real injuries came of this
    and i agree
the fines mean nothing to these guys
he knew he'd be fined before he even did this
i thought he should have at the very least been removed from the building for the rest of the day
    peace,

It's typical New York behavior, that would never happen in Philly.

This guy is the strength and conditioning coach...so hitting him with even a $10,000 fine would be HUGE to him.

Give the guy a slap on the wrist and I'm sure he'll never do it again. Everybody deserves a second chance and he's already showing remorse.

Fire him??? Hell, after watching the Jet's D get shredded in the last several weeks, they should promote him to a starting position on the D-line. :D

he should be fired. had that guy suffered a career threatening injury that team would have been sued for millions and millions of dollars. professional athletes assume the risk that they might become injured or disabled while ON THE FIELD. and they make millions of dollars to assume that risk. they do not assume the risk of some dumbass coach tripping them up while running full speed down the sideline..an organization can not have a liability like that on their sideline.

Fine him yes. Fire him no.

There are far worse things being done in the NFL than a Strength coach sticking his knee out.

This is not Vick bashing,.. because I think he is turning his shit around and I'm happy for that.

BUT,... if they are going to let Vick play,... Or the guys who get a D.U.I. everytime they win a damn game,..
    you can't fire this guy.
    Peace, Love.

  • I think he should be fined, but I also think that he should be barred from the sideline for the rest of the season.

He's a strength and conditioning coach, not a medical person or a position coach that needs to coach players during the game, so make him watch the game from the TV in the weight room... meathead...
