you might have led
had you not followed me

you might have heard more
had you not listened
to me

you might have found love
without me

you might have been more
you might have been yours
I can’t give you
what you may have lost

…not your fault
that the world knows me
it’s not your fault
that you found me
I don’t see the things
you see in me
I don’t see why
you follow me

…you might have gotten lost
you might have been yours
you might have been something more

…consider
the dreams you see
consider how you see me
while you’re still young
consider sobriety

I’m not looking to lose you
in your dreams
I do not hate you
why make this about me
hate yourself if you wish to
I know when I was like you
I used to hate me too

the things
that I would do

I was young
I’d wished to be found
then I was found
they called me beautiful
and said they loved me
but I never wanted to be found
with my insides out
and after they re-arranged my brain
I found what was real to me
…taken away from me
I could not even scream
for they’d also taken my lungs out

I know it’s my fault
and I know
you hurt with me

…far behind me you still follow me
because for you now
there is no other way you see
you’re too old now
to lose your way
you’re all
that you wanna be
not like me
reflecting me
and I know

that you need me

still I do not know who you are
and when I go
I hope you make it
without me

    hehehe. I like to change them around from time to time. I tried a different one recently but I had complaints that it wasn't up to my usual standards! So I went back to the drawing board!
