    i dig the concept and the song wasnt bad but i couldnt get past her voice. Trying too hard to sound "raggae" you know?

    She went to my high school and she was quite unusual. You would have never thought in a million years she would be performing on tv.

    you know, i totally agree. I think thats the allure too. She has such an odd presence and over-the-top dress, that the video becomes distracting. I listened to the song without watching and it doesnt seem too crazy anymore. I think its got good hooks basically. ;)

    She does seem unusual in so many ways. I googled her and she has done some broadway, standup comedy, and a diversity of music. Seems very talented.
