Matters is also known as Mathew or little Matt

that is too cool... matters should change his name to matters... tell matters i think he matters... big time... with that kind of a shoe... forgetaboutit

even i got a lil cousin with whom i jam everytime i go back home... now he's older but when he was a kid, about matters' age, i'd make him dig marilyn manson... he'd sing "i'll be your lover, i'll be forever, i am anythin when i'm high"... he's growin up a smart kid : )

  • I wrote a children's curriculum for animal husbandry.. and illustrated it myself.. Only thing I've ever had published.
Still have a poetry book I'm working on, but I've been working on THAT for the last 30 years so it doesn't really count. lol
  • Tell that little guy to keep it up, he rocks so far!

It was about a little boy who went to the beach. My dad drew the most beautiful beach scenes. My dad is an artist and all 3 of my brothers are artistic, it must be in the male gene. I'm not sure if I still have it, maybe, somewhere...

yes I do.. I've been writing since I was like 7. As a matter of fact my poetry was so dark, it used to get me in trouble at school. lol I wrote one that my teacher read and she called my mother and was like what the fuck goes on at your house!?!? My mother beat my ass when I got home, the teacher had read the poem to her and she straight freaked out..Funny how at nine I knew we were ones of the few kids that had to go home to Heroin addiction and ass beatings. here's the poem that got me beat...

    The Sentence.

    My world is black,
    I'm taken aback,
By this place where love is slack.

    A dance of fate,
    A courtship with hate,
Never a chance to clean my slate.

    I can't escape, although I should,
But I'm imprisoned by my childhood.

That was at nine yrs old.

Wow that is an incredible poem for an adult let alone a 9 year old. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that at such a young age.

  • well I used to wallow in self-pity, til my dad pointed something out to me.. Inever would have become the strong and resillient person I am today without all that crap I went through. Between that and the song Present Tense my life was changed..I now no longer regret the shit I've survived, I embrace it and take it to heart that I am who I am because of it.
