im gonna fill my shoe with milk
and send it to texas
gonna put rocks in my shoe
send it to texas
oh yeah im gonna put a doll house sized toilet in my shoe
gonna send it to texas
gonna put little pieces of dog crap in the tiny toilet that’s in my shoe
and send it straight to texas
im gonna put frogs in my shoe with a bowl of milk and food
gonna send it to texas
gonna put a squirrel in my boot
and cover the hole so he can’t get out like squirrels do
then im gonna send it to texas
gonna fill my boot with garbage
gonna send it to texas
im gonna pour hard chemicals & milk in my shoe
then im gonna send it to texas
im gonna fill my boot with toys
send it to texas
gonna stash a lighter in my shoe
and send it to texas
gonna put something that crawls in my shoe
send it on down to texas
gonna put a little hat into a bigger hat into a bigger hat and put it in my boot
and send it to texas
gonna get a small shoe
and put it in a bigger shoe full of milk
and skis
and dr. seuss bicycles
and computers
and fire engines
and lightning bugs
and send it to maryland
or iowa

even i got a lil cousin with whom i jam everytime i go back home... now he's older but when he was a kid, about matters' age, i'd make him dig marilyn manson... he'd sing "i'll be your lover, i'll be forever, i am anythin when i'm high"... he's growin up a smart kid : )

Still have a poetry book I'm working on, but I've been working on THAT for the last 30 years so it doesn't really count. lol
It was about a little boy who went to the beach. My dad drew the most beautiful beach scenes. My dad is an artist and all 3 of my brothers are artistic, it must be in the male gene. I'm not sure if I still have it, maybe, somewhere...

The Sentence.
My world is black,
I'm taken aback,
By this place where love is slack.
A dance of fate,
A courtship with hate,
Never a chance to clean my slate.
I can't escape, although I should,
But I'm imprisoned by my childhood.
That was at nine yrs old.
Wow that is an incredible poem for an adult let alone a 9 year old. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that at such a young age.
but it is really good
really funny
would not have pictured you as a childrens' writer
rock on
"what a long, strange trip it's been"
how so?
"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."
Chief Joseph - Nez Perce
