wow....

i just saw the new KOL video for Pyro and it really got me thinking about things. and that song has a whole different meaning to me now. it was pretty moving. it took me a second to figure out what was going on, but look at the people in the video and see if you can catch the irony...i think it is a really cool concept, whether you are religious or not...

    it is the rapture.

the thugs in the fight, the creepy old guy making a move on the very young girl, and the band themselves were all left behind. i thought it was ironic that the band was left behind, given their religious upbringing, and the way that success and the lifestyle of being in the band has changed them.

pretty cool concept. i don't believe in any of it, but it was thought provoking for me at least.

it fits the song very well.

They should have made a video for Mary instead of Pyro. The video for Pyro didn't do anything for me.

Kings Of Leon 'furious' over 'deformities' casting call for 'Pyro' video
Kings Of Leon have hit out at the casting company who tried to recruit fans with "physical deformities" to star in their 'Pyro' music video.

Last month an advert was posted on Newyork.craigslist.com asking for "characters with scars, pockmarked skin, physical abnormalities or deformities" to come forward for a two-day shoot in a dockside bar in New England.

Fans were being offered $300 (£188) per day for the privilege of looking "unattractive", "rough around the edges" and/or "a little slow".

The band have now claimed they were not responsible and have blasted the casting company for posting the ad. "We were really embarrassed about it but we had nothing to do with it," guitarist Matthew Followill told The Sun.

He added: "They put it out and as soon as we read it we were humiliated and phoned the managers. We were furious."

I thought the video was good. I like the song, not my fav, but decent nonetheless. Hoping they make No Money (My fav song off the album), Pickup Truck, or Mary their next single.

    eh....pretty cliched,

If Creed released this video what would you all be saying?

I think this carries a simular message with better execution:

Yeah, I watched the video and I thought it was a nice touch how the band stayed behind. Though I probably wouldn't have thought of it that way if I didn't read your post, haha. Song didn't do anything for me, but it was a cool video.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!
