The Senate Wednesday voted to remove U.S. District Judge Judge G. Thomas Porteous of Louisiana from the bench after ruling him guilty of all four articles of impeachment including charges of corruption. It's only the eighth time in history that a federal judge has been removed from office by impeachment.

Is this a real impeachment or a Bill Clinton-esk impeachment?

Why would the Cartels be the legit Government in Mexico? What does that mean?

the fact that he was impeached is evidence enough that this government is more legitimate than mexicos. Rap is not a crime by the way.

you'll have to excuse me officer.

Really? So if The US has failed to convict certain high ranking officials would that make us an illegitimate Government? Cause I might be able to give you one or two examples.

Mexico has also convicted/impeached many high ranking officials.

The comment about Mexico was made because their are so many people on this board who feel the US is free of corruption.
