I've recently been impressed with the generosity going on around here and thought I would contribute. From the free posters going out, to the patches being donated to made into kids blocks, to the contributions to return the favor to Dimitrias, I'm totally blown away. So, in the spirit and in the season:
I've got three homemade two CD sets of live Pearl Jam music from shows that I attended that I'm giving away. One set goes to a North American dwelling winner, one set goes to an International dwelling winner and one set goes to DimitriasPearlJam because he's just an awesome guy and does so much for everyone in our "little" community. All you have to do is post your favorite, worst, compelling, interesting LIVE Pearl Jam experience. Name the venue, date and why it was what it was. I'll choose one North American winner, one International winner and if someone, or Dimitrias, wants to get me his address, he'll win too. You have until 11:59 p.m. EST on December 17th to enter. Hopefully you'll have them for the holidays and if not, definitely for the New Year (postage is on me, no worries). The set lists are below:
CD 1:

State of Love and Trust, Live at the Gorge, George, WA, July 22, 2006

Jeeeez people on here are so nice!!!!! My favourite was Christchurch just last year when Eddie brought Neil Finn out on stage and had him sing "I got you" and Better Be Home Soon", absolutely amazing. Thanks for the chance!!
“ "Thank you Palestrina. It’s a wonderful evening, it’s great to be here and I wanna dedicate you a super sexy song." " (last words of Mark Sandman of Morphine)

Adelaide BIG DAY OUT 20140 -
This is a long one and sadly is only the intro to way more story.
Well, as I've said before, I haven't been able to see any live shows due to location / circumstances. But I did get to meet Eddie with a couple buddies of mine. First off these two friends of mine now were merely acquaintances through my brother as they were his co-workers. Through a few days of hanging out with them I found out there were fans of PJ so we talked about that a lot. One of the topics was the song Mankind and who sang it. I told them it was Stone, found out online through some old fan sites, probably fivehorizons.com. At first they didn't believe me thinking, there's no way they would let Stone sing one. There was no real way I could convince them otherwise. Cut to a few months later and we find out there is a concert in Vancouver coming soon but the only way to get tickets is to phone in to a radio show, I was pretty bummed about that. Was at work and they come in and ask if I heard the news. I said yeah, blah blah concert, radio, blah blah. They said, no, Eddie is here, tonight. He had hung out with their roommate at the bar he worked at and told Ed that his roommates are big fans and would love it if he came back the next night. It just so happened that I was wearing my flipped over semi-truck / Nightmare shirt that day, odd coincidence. Back to the original point with Mankind and Stone on vocals. I am sitting down by the pool table in the club, my usual spot where I would write, and we are there a couple hours, they are getting ansy wondering where he is. The place is supposed to close in an hour and Ed is standing right beside where I am sitting and asks, like the humble man he is, if it's okay that he sits beside me. So I cut to the chase and say, "okay, I have to ask the stupid question first, 'Stone sang Mankind right?'" "Yes." I point at my buddies and say ha ha! Ed joins in and points at them too, doubters. (there is so much more to this story but that's all I'm posting for now.)
Cut to later that night and I said to them, "how's that for proving it, straight from the horses mouth."0
