Anyone seen him on his current tour (on-going since 2008)?

I saw him in L.A. in April 2009, but was preoccupied with my dad's ER visit that day, so I couldn't totally enjoy the show.

As a wedding gift, I arranged a trip to go see the show with my wife in Oakland this past sunday.

I love loud rockin' shows, but this show was the total opposite. LC played for over 3 hours, and it was very relaxing and mesmerizing! I almost fell asleep a few times. We sat second row, so it was truly amazing to be so close for such a meaningful show.

The man is 76 years old, but he delivered one of the best shows I have ever see! His sense of humor is very dry, which made his jokes even funnier. He even recited a poem or two.

Saw him last year here in Denmark, which was truly amazing!
Especially during "Heart With No Companion" when a flock of birds suddenly appeared above the stage (it was outside) holy hell how I love it when nature interferes in live music.*
How ever from seeing him in 2008 and then again 2010 I must admit that age has taken a bit of a toll on his voice, still great but there was a little something.
Lots of greatness, smooth lyrics, immaculate style oh yeah one of the chior-girls fainted during "Tower Of Song".
All in all a great evening with a great man backed up by a great band.
Have fun, walk hard and stay alive.

I saw the o2 Arena show which was filmed and released as Live In London. Amazing show, certainly one of the best Ive seen by anyone. I'm not surprised his voice is maybe not as strong now as then, he's toured a hell of a lot and 3.5 hours a night is a big ask for anyone! Hopefully he'll take a year or so out, make that new record he's writing for and maybe grace us with his presence again. If not, all of us who saw this (or previous tours) can consider ourselves very lucky.
The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits
