I would love to see him here
As it is pretty small if he felt London would need a gig at the Royal Albert Hall as well I'd be down with thatSo are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -

Yeah come on Ed, time to get your ass over Europe ways. Of course you are free to refuse all our demands, but if you do, you know we're only going to set dimi and doompony on ya some more, and you wouldn't like it,,,,. You may find yourself ravaged by merriment.
oi!

She hangs her head and cries on my shirt
She must be hurt very badly
Tell me what’s making you sadly?
Open your door, don’t hide in the dark
You’re lost in the dark, you can trust me
‘Cause you know that’s how it must be
Lisa, Lisa, sad Lisa, Lisa
Her eyes like windows, trickling rain
Upon her pain, getting deeper
Though my love wants to relieve her
She walks alone from wall to wall
Lost in a hall, she can’t hear me
Though I know she likes to be near me
Lisa, Lisa, sad Lisa, Lisa
She sits in a corner by the door
There must be more I can tell her
If she really wants me to help her
I’ll do what I can to show her the way
And maybe one day I will free her
Though I know no one can see her

Dear Mr Vedder
I would be very grateful if you could come and do a solo tour in Europe. It's a very nice place, with lots of wonderful things to see. You have spent a lot of time travelling the world and wouldn't want you to miss out on the fun you could have in Europe.
We have surfing;

Europe is a great place to bring the kids;

And is an excellent place to bring the wife for a bit of romance;

Hope you will try and fit us in your schedule.

It is called Union Chapel and is in Islington, London. I have seen The Gutter Twins there.
It's a nice experience too as the profits from the refreshments go to their homeless charity and it's staffed by volunteers.

God this is the politest petition on record!! A very charming invitation Claire, he'd be a fool to pass up on such opportunities. Just make sure he brings a thick wetsuit that's all..... The British surfers in particular are legendary for being tough. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if Eddie is tough enough to take the British surf, maybe back in the day, but he's probably spent too much time reclining on Californian beaches to cut it with the British surfers these days. So, if he fails to come to the UK it's probably just because he is too soft, and afraid of those cold wavesCancel my subscription to the Ressurection

Ah, you see straight through me!
Now I'm not saying Eddie is too soft to surf the British coast, or that he is scared of a colder ocean. But if he doesn't come past the UK, no doubt that is the conclusion that some people (not me) will naturally draw.Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection

You should book The Roundhouse in London, Ed. It takes 3300 people standing, 1700 seated. It's a legendary place. They've cleaned it up but it still has plenty of character. Just sayin', if you're readin', boss.0
