I could be you
you're not kidding me
Starving ragged raging
poor as can be

Born into dirt
and of dirt brought up
lead seepage fills up
mostly empty cup

I feel you can't see me
I need to believe
just send in five dollars
should satisfy me

Comfort, there is none
no strength do I bare
wrong side of this world
How'd you get over there?
