Chad Smith sat in with Levon Helm last night

As some of you may recall, I live near Woodstock, NY. where Levon Helm from The Band, holds weekly gigs in his recording studio barn and has guests musicians. Amos Lee was there last night. Sometimes there are unexpected guests, enter Chad Smith who sat in for a few songs. Chad was there with his family and most people did not know who he was until he was introduced.

    How was Amos?

    (side note: My parents bought a place in Phoenicia about a year ago and I can't wait to go to those shows.)

    Phoneica flooded pretty bad last week, hope your parents place made out ok. You will not be disappointed when you get to a Ramble. It is so intimate, you feel like you are seeing something you shouldn't.

    Pretty good, did most of his new record. He is a talented guy and fits in good at the Rambles. He is in his element.


    PS.Also found out that Chad moved to NY, not sure exactly where though ; ) .
